Assembling Travel plans is always a tedious exercise; there is generally much information needed to produce what is usually a minor fraction of the price.

The new Travel Plan feature in ECOS has been designed to reduce this burden as much as possible.

A Cities dictionary has been created that allows you to define departure/destination records rapidly and in a non-ambiguous manner.

The non-ambiguity in city designations allows you to construct Travel Libraries for which cost/trip and cost/day unit prices can be recorded and maintained.

Such libraries can be progressively assembled when creating records or prepared beforehand by importing information from Excel tables on cost/trip prices from your travel agency and cost/day prices from the table of daily allowances published by your HR Department.

It is possible to make a back-up of these libraries and transfer them to your colleagues so they do not have to re-create these libraries from scratch.

When you have created a travel library, the lines of the travel plan can be filled by a simple drag’n drop. This procedure considerably reduces the data entry time.
