Throughout the duration of the Air Show, live demonstrations of the AmerHis telecommunications system – the first European "broadband switchboard in space" - will be given in conjunction with Alcatel Space. An ESA multimedia van will demonstrate the possibilities offered by this advanced-performance system, which delivers low-cost real-time interactive broadband communication services connecting a number of distant locations.

The European ISS Business Club (IBC), ESA's industry club for the system integrators and suppliers of the International Space Station, will also be on-site throughout the Show. At its booth located in Hall 3/D1, trade visitors and the general public will be introduced to the Club and its service portfolio. As a special highlight, IBC representatives will visit selected companies together with ESA astronaut Jean-François Clervoy. The Club will also be hosting a business get-together for its Members and specially-invited guests on 14 June at 18.00.
