Writing

Once the review done (cf before writing), the Statement of Work can be addressed and, as such, the following points can be defined:

• critical review of the requirements
      
• preliminary identification of several possible solutions
      
• preliminary trade-off and identification of the preferred approach
      

in order to create the Work Breakdown Structure of the work and assign the Tasks, in the form of Work Packages, to the members of the company, or the consortium – in case of multiple entities.

   
The actual writing of the proposal in the form of a structured document can start, and all the contributions can be merged in a single text.

   
It is recommended to check the completeness/ consistency of the chapters with the Work Breakdown Structure, and check the compliance of the preferred technical approach with the technical requirements and, most important, ask a third party to check the document!
