Invitation to ESA’s Future Mars Exploration Day
ESA's Directorate of Human Spaceflight and Robotic Exploration invites European industries and institutions to participate in the 'ESA Future Mars Exploration Day' at ESTEC, ESA's technical centre in the Netherlands on 5 July.
During this event, ESA will brief industries about the planning status of future European Mars missions after ExoMars 2020, and will also provide an overview of the recently approved Exploration Programme work- and procurement plan, from which invitation to tenders will be issued for Mars-Exploration-related technology activities.
Opportunities will also be provided for brief presentations from industries that have participated in the definition and development of Mars missions, and of technologies in support of Mars exploration.
This event is also intended to facilitate networking between industry and institutions that intend to participate in upcoming ESA activities for future Mars mission preparation.
