The Industry Space Days event originally planned for June will now take place on 20, 21 and 22 September 2016 at ESA ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
This is the sixth such event organised by the SME Policy Office of ESA’s Directorate of Industrial Policy, Procurement and Legal affairs with the support from the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management.
The ISD 2016 is an international forum through which European suppliers in the space domain, especially SMEs, can present their products, projects, or R&D to the outside world. It fosters business opportunities by bringing together potential partners.
In 2014, the ISD hosted more than 600 companies and 100 booths dedicated to high-technology products for space and provided the framework for more than 8000 business-to-business meetings in the course of the event.
This year, international space agencies and space companies searching for highly technical competences and products are warmly invited to ESA’s Technological heart, ESTEC, where qualified, innovative and exceptional companies will show their products.
ESA invites all European companies, laboratories, start-ups, universities, centres of research to join the forum and to introduce themselves to the wider industry arena.
The aim of ISD 2016 is to give all participants the opportunity to present high quality products and services, to share their ideas, and offer solutions to European and international markets.
