Following publication of the latest Universum survey, highlighting 2020’s most attractive employers according to students in Switzerland, ESA is proud to be ranked among the top 100 employers, at position number 5 in the category for engineering and 9 for natural sciences.

“With many careers events currently suspended due to COVID-19, there have been fewer opportunities this year to reach out to students and professionals. As a result, the good news that ESA has been ranked among the top 100 employers by students in Switzerland is very welcome and we are proud that ESA continues to be seen as a an attractive employer by Swiss talent.” said Zineb Elomri, Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Although ESA does not have an operating base within the country, Switzerland is one of the founding members of the European Space Agency and many Swiss colleagues work in the different ESA locations across Europe. ESA regularly takes part in careers events and roadshows in Switzerland, meeting students and professionals every year and sharing information about careers opportunities. You can also explore these opportunities now here!

So thanks to everyone who took part in the Universum Survey and we hope we can meet you again soon, at virtual as well as face-to-face events!

11,000 students from 75 universities took part in the survey, which was carried out from October 2019 to April 2020. The complete top 100 for Switzerland can be downloaded here.
