The Astronauts Training Division at the European Astronaut Centre is looking for a highly motivated, professional and skilled individual for a four to six month internship.

An interest in human spaceflight and modern communication technology is a must. Experience with training, teaching and/or educational methods would be beneficial but most important is enthusiasm and initiative. Applicants should ideally be enrolled in a Masters course or equivalent post-graduate qualification.

From 2009 to 2010 the EAC successfully implemented a basic training programme for a class of 6 new ESA astronauts. This high-profile programme has attracted interest from other potential users, both inside and outside of ESA. There is now a requirement to use the EAC basic training catalogue as the starting point to develop new training materials using video and other multimedia and learning technologies.

This includes the development of training videos for use on-board the ISS. The goal of this internship is to assist in this process.

Please see the full description of the internship opportunity which starts in January 2015 in the link provided.
