Job vacancy: Head of the Operations Department in the Directorate of Science
ESA is looking for a Head of Operations Department to lead the Directorates’ missions once successfully commissioned, at ESAC, Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Department, executing science operations in the operational phase of missions, participating in research activities and developing the science operations for the Directorate’s missions in cooperation other Departments.
The Head of the Operation Department should be a strategic leader with strong communication skills, and will have a background in the development and execution of science operations, knowledge of space projects and research experience in space science.
