    Watch Heads of Space Agencies session at IAC 2012

    Plenary session with heads and top representatives of space agencies
    2 October 2012

    The first plenary session at the 63rd International Astronautical Congress in Naples, Italy, featured a discussion panel with heads and top representatives of space agencies.

    The panel included: Charles Bolden, NASA Administrator, Jean-Jacques Dordain, ESA Director General, Yafeng Hu, Deputy Director of CNSA's Coordination Committee for International Cooperation, Steve MacLean, President of CSA, Sergei Saveliev, Deputy Head of Roscosmos, P.S. Veeraraghavan, Council Vice-Chairman of ISRO, Enrico Saggese, President of ASI, and Keiji Tachikawa, President of JAXA.

    They provided an overview of their programmes and future plans, and gave their views on current developments and international cooperation. An interactive discussion with the audience followed.
