Announcement: The time and place of The European Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court 2018
Since its inception in 1992 by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition has grown to cover four world regions: North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa. Each year the ECSL organise in collaboration with a host university the European Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court Competition. The success of the competition is evident from the increasing interest from teams all across Europe and the quality of the teams competing.
The ECSL is pleased to announce that the 2018 European rounds of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court will be co-organised with the Nova Law School, in Lisbon Portugal. The competition will be held from the 21-24th of May. 2018.
There will be no fee to enter the European rounds, but participants are expected to organise for their own travel and living arrangements in Lisbon.
The regional winners will be sponsored to compete at the World finals which are organised by the International Institute for Space Law, at the IAC 2018. The IAC is an annual meeting forum for the global space community, and will in 2018 be organised in Bremen, Germany from 1-5th of October.
