ESA SP-1328 ESA's Report to the 40th COSPAR meeting
This report on the scientific activities of the European Space Agency outlines the contribution of ESA’s Science and Robotic Exploration, Earth Observation and Human Spaceflight missions to international space science.
Space technology and services are becoming vital for coping with global challenges and for responding to many of society’s needs. The COSPAR assembly promotes research and international cooperation in space science to address those needs and challenges. Meeting in Moscow in August 2014, the COSPAR assembly gathers people involved in space research and exploration from 45 countries to engage in a free and impartial exchange of information and open discussions about space science.
