    ESA's CryoSat-2 launch programme included addresses and panel discussions with some of the world's top climate researchers. Click to watch a replay of ESA TV coverage including the launch itself.

    The CryoSat-2 launch event featured keynote addresses and panel discussions with top climate scientists, including the UK's Professor Duncan Wingham, lead investigator for CryoSat; Prof. Ghassem Asrar, Director of the World Climate Research Programme; Prof. Mojib Latif of Germany's Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences (IFM-GEOMAR) and Thierry Touchais, Executive Director of the International Polar Foundation (IPF).
