    AUTOMATED TRANSFER VEHICLE

The ATV-3 mission, posters and visuals for download

    23 February 2012

The third Automated Transfer Vehicle, ATV, is named after Edoardo Amaldi, an Italian cosmic ray physicist and a founding fathers of European space research. This will be launched in March 2012 on a powerful Ariane 5 from Europe’s Spaceport.

To celebrate this challenging mission, ESA has produced a set of panels giving an overview of the ATV mission together with a selection of images showing the European elements of the ISS, stunning Earth view and European astronauts.

Files can be downloaded free of charge: ATV-3 posters; and Europe and the ISS photogallery.
