Save the date – Ecsite Space Group workshop, 4–5 June in Denmark

‘Pushing boundaries’ is the theme of the 30th edition of the Ecsite Annual Conference, hosted this year by Experimentarium in Copenhaghen, Denmark, from 4–8 June.

ESA and the Ecsite Space Group have organised a pre-conference workshop ‘Space for All, Space for Earth’ from 4–5 June.

In 2019, the group continues to explore the topic ‘Space for life’ focusing on Earth Observation and ‘Space for Earth’.

Ecsite Annual Conference 2018 workshop

According to the decisions taken during the Space group annual meeting held in January 2019 in Kerkrade, The Netherlands, the two-day workshop will comprise:

  • Space news from ESA, the Danish Space programmes and national industries;
  • Presentation of ‘ESA Moon Exploration resources’;
  • Resources for ‘Climate change: Monitoring the Atmosphere and Oceans from Space’;
  • Presentation of space projects by ESA Education office and Ecsite Space Group participants;
  • Visit and discussion at the Planetarium Copenhagen;

 

Representatives of ESA, the Danish Delegation to ESA and national representatives will give presentations and their contribution to improve and extend communication about ESA and European Space activities with delegates of museums and science centres.
