Space Group Workshop 'Space for life', 7-8 June, Graz, Austria
“The Colours of Cooperation” is the theme of Ecsite’s annual conference 2016 in Graz, Austria, from 7 to 11 June.
During the Ecsite annual conference, ESA and the Ecsite Space Group have organised a workshop, 'Space for life, develop and share resources' from 7-8 June.
As agreed during the annual meeting held last November at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milano, the two days will focus on:
- Presentation of space news from ESA, Austrian Space Agency and industries
- Presentation from Co-leaders Cité de l’Espace from Toulouse, France and Tycho Brahe planetarium from Copenhagen, Denmark, will present the set of panels planned for the the exhibition on “The International Space Station: Living and working in Space”
- Presentation of the updated “Hook up with Rosetta” kit
- Presentation of the educational project “Is there life out there?” related to the ExoMars mission, led by Science Museum Principe Felipe of Valencia, Spain, and that will be fully developed in 2017
- Presentation of the audiovisual project “Climate change: monitoring the atmosphere and oceans from space”, led by Ciencia Viva, in Lisbon, Portugal; and that will be fully developed in 2018
- Presentations from museums and science centres that are interested to promote and showcase their own projects.
