Cooperation with Russia
Consultation of the European Space Industry

As stated in the ESA Agenda 2007, Russia should become a major partner to ESA. This new era of Euro-Russian Space cooperation expanding beyond the existing cooperation is also recommended in the EC White Paper (COM(2003)673) as an action to be supported by the EU.
In preparation of the above, a dedicated workshop to consult the European Space industry on the potential areas of cooperation with Russia is organized by the Directorate of EU and Industrial programmes in ESTEC on 7th October. Invitations to the meeting have been sent to the interested European industries.
