A one-day Practitioners' Forum has been organised every year since 1992. The aim of the Forum is to provide those working in the space sector with a forum for the exchange of views, knowledge and information.
During the forum experts present the latest developments in, for example: EC law, contracts and procurement law, telecommunications, space liability and insurance, etc. Each presentation is followed by a question and discussion session.
The forum is very informal, participants speak in their personal capacity and in general, papers are not collected or published.
The 2010 edition of the Practitioners' Forum took place at ESA Headquarters, Paris, the 19th of March 2010 on the theme "Galileo : Current Legal Issues".
The last edition was held at ESA Headquarters, Paris , France, the 18th of March 2011 and focused on "Manned Spaceflight Safety Issues: Legal & Policy Aspects".
The programme along with the presentations made during the Forum are available on the right side of this page.
