Entry 9: Fairing logo signed
23 October 2009 – Following encapsulation on 20 October, the flight batteries have begun to be charged, and imporantly, the SMOS, Proba-2 and Eurockot logo was stuck on the fairing.
Once the logo was attached, all the team members had the opportunity to add their signatures and a few last words to wish the satellites 'bon voyage'. The SMOS and Proba-2 teams have a day off today, but are back on site Monday 26 October when the 'upper composite' will be rolled out to the launch pad and erected in the launch tower. Launch is scheduled for Monday 2 November at 02:50 CET.
