The Dublin-based company Skytek has developed a mobile emergency system in association with the Dublin Fire Brigade. The technology is based on the company’s iPV technology that is used to assist astronauts control and manage emergency situations on the International Space Station. Over the past year, Skytek has worked with the Dublin Fire Brigade to adapt the technology for use by emergency personnel. It allows firefighters to download procedural information en route to the scene of an incident.
