Landing of the Expedition 53 crew (Ryazanskiy, Bresnik, Nespoli) on the Soyuz MS-05 spacecraft is scheduled at 08:38:06 GMT, 14:38:06 Kazakhstan time.
ESA TV will offer live coverage of all key moments of the operations starting at:
- Farewell ceremony and hatch closing at 0200 GMT (tx 0130-0220GMT).
- Undocking of the Soyuz MS-03 from the Rassvet ISS module scheduled at 0516 GMT (tx 0500-0535GMT).
- Landing coverage itself will start some 30 minutes before touch down in the steppes of Kazakhstan, scheduled at 0838 GMT, (tx 0800-0935GMT).
The ESA Italian astronaut will then return to Johnson Space Centre, Houston, for checkups and research into how humans adapt to living in space. Provided he feels able, Paolo Nespoli may give some brief interview comments before departing Karaganda.
