Children’s Christmas lecture ‘The Space Game’

On Saturday 8 December, Frank Longhurst, The International Space Station Programme Manager for the European Space Agency (ESA) from 1984 to 2001, will be giving a children’s Christmas lecture at the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) in London.
The lecture, entitled ‘The Space Game’, will take children aged 6 to 13 on a journey of space exploration, from the early rockets of the Second World War, man’s first steps on the Moon, through to ESA’s current missions. The lecture starts at 14.30 GMT.
