    Europe and Space debris - invitation to the Press

    ESA, CNES and the French Académie Nationale de l'Air et de l'Espace cordially invite you to a presentation on the forthcoming international colloquium "Europe and Space Debris". The press conference will take place at 15:00, 21 November at CNES headquarters in Paris.

    At the press conference the technical, economic and legal issues related to space debris will be outlined together with the monitoring and international cooperation measures taking place.

    These issues will be discussed in detail at the international colloquium Europe and Space Debriswhich will be held on 27-28 November in Toulouse, France. The main themes for discussion at the two-day meeting are international cooperation; technical, financial and legal aspects; and monitoring of space.

    This international meeting is being organised by the Académie Nationale de l'Air et de l'Espace, together with ESA and the French Space Agency CNES, and is supported by the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs.
