2nd Symposium on Space Educational Activities – Registration now open!

Are you a university student, or a university professor or researcher, that participated in an educational programme about space, and you want to share your experience with the community of those interested in space educational activities?

Or possibly you are a university student who wants to participate in an educational programme about space? 

Or maybe you represent a company, organisation or agency that provides, or has an interest in space educational activities?

If so then the 2nd Symposium on Space Educational Activities is the forum for you, and registration is now open

The 2nd Symposium on Space Education Activities (2nd SSEA) will be hosted by the Budapest University of Technology  and Economics (BME), in Hungary’s historic capital. The event will feature sessions on all aspects of University-level space educational activities, key notes speeches from special guests, stands/exhibitions from industry and agencies and special social events throughout the city! 

In addition to the exciting scope of this conference and the attractive location, the conference organisers have arranged a special early-bird registration fee, with additional discounts for students. Student – early bird price: of €100, which includes lunches, welcome reception and and a gala dinner! Discounts are also available for young professionals with the early-bird deadline closing on the 10th of January. The conference organisers are also negotiating with local hotels to arrange for special deals for students and other participants. 

Furthermore if you’re a current full time student, sponsorship opportunities may be soon be available. The ESA Education office, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB) all plan to announce sponsorship opportunities in the coming weeks.

There is still time to submit your abstract! The call for abstracts opened at the start of September, but will remain open until 31st of October, so you still have time to submit your abstract, and directly contribute to this exciting forum.
