It’s time to get up, move your body, and train like an astronaut! Astronauts need years of training and preparation for their missions to space. In Mission X, you’ll learn the key elements to keeping fit and staying healthy in space and on Earth. Do you have what it takes?

Level: 8 to 12 years old

Your team can register now to take part in the Mission X Walk to the Moon Challenge 2020-21. During the challenge, your team will complete hands-on classroom activities, that have been developed with space scientists and fitness professionals working with astronauts and space agencies across the world. The physical activity set will test your strength, endurance, coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and more. With the science activity set your team will learn how to keep the human body healthy and strong.

Starting 13 January, the online Points Calculator will open and you can begin submitting completed activities to earn points for your country. Submitted points are translated into steps to help the Mission X mascots, Luna and Leo, walk to the Moon!

Mission X is a collaboration between ESA and the UK Space Agency, facilitated by the ESERO network and national organisers.
