SSEA - call for abstracts now open

On behalf of their partners at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), the ESA Education Office is delighted to announce that the Call for Abstracts for the 2nd Symposium on Space Educational Activities is now open.

The symposium will take place between the 11th and 13th of April 2018 at BME's facilities in Budapest, Hungary. 

The purposes of the symposium are:

  • To constitute a forum about educational space-related activities at university level;
  • To share experiences among students and young professionals from different countries and to provide networking opportunities with international professionals within the space sector;
  • To increase the awareness among academic, industrial, and government organisations of the importance of hands-on activities and specialised training and learning opportunities for the next generation of space scientists and engineers.

 

Important Dates: 
Opening of Registration: 1st October 2017
Closing of the call for abstracts: 31st October 2017
Notification of acceptance: 1st December 2017
Early-bird registration deadline: 10th January 2018
Submission of full paper: 1st March 2018
2nd Symposium on Space Educational Activities: 11th-13th April 2018

The symposium will also be followed by the Space Generation Advisory Council's European Student Forum on the 14th of April, which will be organised by the SGAC.
