In just two weeks time, more than a hundred teachers from across Europe will arrive at ESA’s European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands to learn how to bring space into the classroom. Based on the success of previous workshops, as well as an increased interest in teachers wishing to participate, this year’s workshop format has changed dramatically. In contrast to previous years, the workshop will be attended by almost three times as many teachers, and this year ESA will welcome both primary and secondary school teachers.

Today ESA is publishing the detailed programme for the 2015 workshop. The exciting programme is built around five key topics:

  • Gravity
  • Rosetta, comets and the Solar System
  • Planet Earth
  • Light
  • Space exploration and human spaceflight

The detailed programmes for the primary and secondary level sessions can be downloaded here.
