European Space Education Resource Office

Through the European Space Education Resource Offices (ESERO), ESA's Education Office aims to support, the specific educational needs of the Member States and their Education Community; and to get easy access to national education networks.

The ESERO project addressess the motivation of young people to enhance their literacy in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), including associated applications, using space related themes and the genuine fascination for spaceflight, resources and appropriate actions; and to pursue a career in these fields and in the space domain in particular.

The ESERO contact point implements an annual series of teacher (primary & secondary) training sessions in collaboration with national partners, already active in STEM education. They use and disseminate existing ESA/ESERO education materials, and if appropriate, develop specific resources tailored to the needs of the educadtion community. The ESERO office also organises national ESERO teacher conferences for secondary and primary education.
