The project
The propulsion system gas feed (PSGF) team designs the cold gas part of the ESMO propulsion system. Its main tasks are to unload the reaction wheels, to support de-spin and manoeuvres of the spacecraft, to pressurize the main tanks and to provide a pre-acceleration prior to main engine operation. Additionally, the team develops the interface unit for the propulsion system to the on-board data handling and electrical power system.
