The project
The tasks of the attitude and orbit control subsystem (AOCS) are to de-spin the spacecraft after launch and to point solar panels, camera, thrusters and antennas. The AOCS Milan team designs the subsystem architecture and selects and sizes the required hardware; further tasks include the simulation of the subsystem and the definition of AOCS modes and mode transitions.
