ESA will once again support this United Nations initiative to promote awareness of space activities. Public lectures and activities are planned.  

This annual event take place as part of the Netherlands' national Weekend of Science, as well as World Space Week, and attracts close to 9000 visitors. Visitors will be able to wander around the sprawling facility at their own pace, meeting astronauts, scientists and mission designers, while seeing special exhibits and actual space hardware.

ESA will bring astronauts and Mars together with artists and musicians for the Guggenheim's 20th birthday.

In coordination with the EC as part of the Copernicus constellation for Earth observation, and with the Netherlands Space Office as instrument contributor, Sentinel 5-P will be launched on a Rockot on Friday, 13 October.
