Video replay: STS-128 docking and hatch opening

Space Shuttle Discovery docked with the International Space Station on 31 August 2009 at at 02:54 CEST. Following leak checks, the hatches between the two spacecraft were opened at 03:33 CEST and the two crews greeted each other, starting nine days of joint operations (click top right for sound).
