Full description
The Benches are located at The Plant Biocentre (PBS) with scientific support from two laboratories (Department of Physics and PBS, Department of Botany). The laboratories are equipped with all instruments and services necessary to perform tests on plants (Arabidopsis, Lepidium) and single plant cells e.g. protoplasts.
The following services have been specified and tested:
- Plant growth test chambers
- Gas supply and monitoring
- Temperature
- Liquid supply
- Illumination
- Observation
- Contamination prevention
- Biocompatibility and chemical characterisation of trace gases
- Ethylene and CO2 removal systems
- Vibrations
- Electromagnetic interference
