The objective of the meeting is to provide a forum for interaction among different researchers from both industrial and academic laboratories and institutions in order to foster the development of efficient and effective calibration and validation methods.

The workshop will focus on the mission status, first data quality and Calibration/Validation results, the planning of the numerical weather prediction impact assessment, and on the scientific exploitation of Aeolus data including current and possible future products.
