Follow the Earth observation training course live online

    12 September 2011

This week, future Earth observation scientists can learn about using satellite data for science and applications development from their own homes.

While an ESA series of advanced thematic training courses in remote sensing applications is underway in Krakow, Poland, interested people across the globe can take part via live web streaming.

The live stream is available, along with more information on the course and its programme.

The course aims to train the next generation of European and Canadian Principal Investigators by introducing the available tools for taking advantage of Earth-observing satellites.

The week-long event stimulates and supports the exploitation of ESA and Third Party Mission remote sensing data for land applications.
