ESA releases GOCE Announcement of Opportunity

    Announcement of Opportunity
    27 May 2003

ESA has just released an open-competition Announcement of Opportunity to submit proposals to conduct scientific pre-processing, external calibration and validation of Level 1B GOCE data products.

This Announcement of Opportunity is aimed at engaging institutional groups, or individuals, with appropriate gravity and orbit data processing expertise and facilities, in using unvalidated Level 1B satellite gravity gradiometer and GPS-based high-low satellite-to-satellite tracking data products delivered by the Payload Data Segment (PDS). The submission deadline is 18 July 2003. Please click here for more details.

A further AO, specifically for validated Level 1B and Level 2 scientific data exploitation, is expected about 12 months before the launch of GOCE.
