    ESA’s YouTube spotlights GOCE

    9 March 2009

In the run-up to the launch of the GOCE satellite on 16 March 2009, ESA’s YouTube channel is highlighting the mission with a series of videos.

ESA's gravity mission GOCE (Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer) demonstrates Europe’s excellence in both engineering and science through the realisation of one of the most challenging space missions to date.

Throughout the month of March, one playlist containing several video clips will be published per week on ESA’s YouTube channel to present the mission to the general public. The videos will focus on the importance of mapping Earth’s gravity field, the construction of the spacecraft and the highlights of the launch.
