About the symposium
Nearly 1200 scientific researchers and operational users attended ESA’s Living Planet Symposium in Bergen, Norway, from 28 June – 2 July 2010.
Throughout the symposium, the largest scientific meeting regularly organised by ESA, scientists presented results and compared findings of ongoing research activities using data from ESA’s Envisat, ERS-2 and Third Party Mission satellites.
The first in-orbit results from the ESA’s recently launched Earth Explorers – GOCE, SMOS and CryoSat – were also presented.
Daily coverage of the event has been provided on this site.
