    minigallery: SMOS launch diary gallery

Complementing the SMOS launch diary, this image gallery provides a glimpse into the range of activities that are being carried out to prepare the satellite for launch. The gallery begins with photos of the satellite being shipped from Thales Alenia Space's facilities in France to the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia and then photos of the launch campaign activities as they are carried out.
The most recent pictures feature first.
