ESApod reports from the 2007 Envisat Symposium in Montreux, Switzerland, where more than 900 scientists from around the world have gathered to present their findings on the state of our world’s land, oceans, ice and atmosphere using data from ESA Earth observation (EO) satellites.
On Tuesday 24 April, a special session was dedicated to the use of EO satellites in support of International Environmental Conventions in close collaboration with UN agencies, the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP).
