GOME-2 passes acceptance testing in Galileo Avionica

GOME-2 successfully completed the electro-magnetic coupling (EMC) test in January 2002. For the vibration test, the instrument was shipped to Astrium Friedrichshafen (Germany).

The test campaign is to be finalised with the instrument thermal vacuum test to be completed at Galileo Avionica (Italy) at the beginning of March 2002.
