    La Terre vue de l'Espace: Un iceberg est né

    Cette animation acquise par le satellite Envisat montre la naissance d’un iceberg géant qui s’est détaché du glacier de Pine Island dans l’ouest de l’Antarctique. Long de 34 km et large de 20, ce nouvel iceberg recouvre une zone égale en superficie à près de la moitié du Grand Londres.

    Animation acquise par le radar ASAR du satellite européen Envisat de l’ESA.
