NASA Delegation visits CDF
On 22 March 2005 a NASA Delegation led by Admiral Craig E. Steidle - NASA Associate Administrator for Exploration Systems - visited ESTEC.
Purpose of the Delegation was to become acquainted with ESA's state-of-the-art facilities to enhance future cooperation.
The tour included the visit and presentation of the CDF, given by Bruno Gardini, ESA Aurora Programme Manager, and Massimo Bandecchi, Head of the Concurrent Design Facility. The CDF presentation described specifically the activities performed in support of ESA's exploration programme.
In addition it showed the will and capabilities of the CDF to collaborate with similar NASA design centres for future joint studies.
