ESA’s Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO) will be present at the first edition of Cross’Innov, International Forum and Business Convention to promote its offers and opportunities to an international technology and business audience.

The forum focusing on transversal, interdisciplinary and technological convergences is designed to be a unique business to business platform, which will bring together leading European decision makers and academic researchers and constitutes a unique business to business platform to develop technological collaborations.

Cross’Innov, taking place on 24-25 April 2008 at Espaces Antipolis in Sophia Antipolis, France, will attract international delegates from institutions, business investing organisations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large companies alike to foster high tech cooperation and forge new technology alliances in the areas of Information Technology in Healthcare, Traceability Technologies, Biotechnologies in Fine Chemistry, and Satellite Navigation (SatNav) Applications.

"SatNav together with telecommunication technologies are providing more and more opportunities to develop new products and services," said Bruno Naulais, Business Incubator Network Manager at ESA.

ESA's Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO) will present opportunities that both ESA’s technology transfer programme and its business incubation scheme can offer in the area of SatNav.

"ESA three business incubation centres and the European network of business incubators ESINET offer a superb environment to get projects off the ground using space technologies and systems, and develop them into a viable business".
