In recent years, the transfer of space technologies and the commercial application of space systems have generated countless business opportunities. ‘ESA Investment Forum’ in Stuttgart on 19 May offers investors and space tech companies a new opportunity to join forces.

Organised by ESA's Technology Transfer Programme Office in collaboration with Europe Unlimited this latest event follows the highly successful Forums held in the Netherlands and Belgium. The focus is on satellite-based services, innovative materials, novel sensor technologies and other space-developed items and how they find their way to commercial applications, highlighting the potential for the spinning off of space technology down to Earth.

For this fourth event, the ESA Investment Forum will foster investment and partnership opportunities by bringing together start-up companies that use space technology or satellite-based services in a non-space environment, with finance and investment communities.

The Forum plays an active role in European innovation and is an exceptional setting for exploring opportunities for collaboration while providing a privileged insight into the prospective commercialisation of space technology and services.

ESA Investment Forum 2010 will take place at Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre 19 May 2010.

For more information, visit ‘ESA Investment Forum 2010 Stuttgart’.

Start-up companies that fit the space-to-non-space profile and are interested in attending, should register no later than 7 April here.

Venture capitalists interested in attending should register here.
