Technology Transfer Network

ESA’s Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO) uses a network of technology brokers to assess the market needs in areas where there is a potential for exploitation of space technologies.

The broker network hosts the database of the Technology Forum online market place where requests for technologies are matched with available space technologies. In addition, the technology brokers also support the transfer process itself.

The network of brokers is managed by the UK company International Space Innovation Centre (ISIC) which collaborates with a number of national partners in other ESA Member States in the pursuit for promoting and supporting spin-off and technology transfer of technologies, expertise and systems from ESA and other European space programmes to non-space sectors.

The Technology Transfer Network (TTN) members are:

  • ISIC, UK
