    Business Incubation

    TTP-BIC-businessOpportunity

ESA's Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) help entrepreneurs to get their technology transfer projects off the ground and assist their development into viable businesses.

The five ESA BICs in The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and the UK are coordinated by ESA's Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO) and provide technical expertise and business-development support.

    ESA offers business incubation at:

    • ESA BIC Noordwijk in the Netherlands
    • ESA BIC Darmstadt in Germany
    • ESA BIC Italy in Italy
    • ESA BIC Bavaria in Germany
    • ESA BIC Harwell in the UK.

Each BIC offers technical expertise in several fields, as well as advice and support with business development.

    Who can apply?

“Establish your start-up company based on the new services and applications emerging from the creative use of space technologies and systems in non-space sectors.”
ESA's Business Incubation Cnetres are open for entrepreneurs and start-up companies with innovative ideas for using space technology, applications and services in a non-space environment.

Specific conditions apply to the different centres and are specified in the application procedures for each centre.
