A new set of ESA brochures now online, entitled Space: a key asset for Europe to face global challenges, explains how space creates innovation, boosts our economic growth and is a fundamental tool for protecting the environment.
Space programmes fuel the creation of innovative capabilities, knowledge and technology, boost our economic growth, improve the lives of Europeans, and are a fundamental tool for protecting the Earth environment as well as for our security and preparing for the future – making space a key asset for Europe.
Each brochure contains a video, testimonials and information, some of which you may find surprising. Did you know, for instance, that ESA’s environmental satellite Envisat is daily collecting data for more than 2300 scientific projects all around the world?
The online version is easy to access and contains a link to the short videos; you can also download an offline PDF version to your computer to view later or print at your leisure.
