STS-128 landing
ESA astronaut returns to Earth with Columbus lab experiment
 
12 September 2009   ESA PR 22-2009. Space Shuttle Discovery landed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, at 02:53 CEST (on 12 September) completing all objectives of the 14-day STS-128 mission to the International Space Station.

ESA astronaut Christer Fuglesang's Alissé mission ended on 12 August with the landing of Space Shuttle Discovery at Edwards Air Force Base in California at 02:53 CEST (11 August at 08:53 EDT). Watch a replay of the landing.

Video replay: ESA astronauts answer questions during inflight call
 
ESA astronauts Christer Fuglesang and Frank De Winne answered questions during an inflight call with a Swedish television station. The two ESA astronauts were reunited in space during the STS-128 mission for which Fuglesang was a mission specialist. De Winne is currently a member of the ISS Expedition 20 crew.
