Space environment

Both for scientific purposes and for better understanding of the challenges one has to face when trying to reach space and more particularly surface planets, scientists and engineers have to pave the way to ensure that models are correct and close to reality.

In such a way, one can avoid failures during atmosphere entry due to poor accuracy and knowledge of the Martian atmosphere parameters for instance.

Also, space environment can be harsh for Humans even on the way to Mars since radiations are not stopped by any magnetic fields. Radiation mitigation strategies and technologies are thus to be investigated.
