‘Masters with Masters’ event at IAC 2010

5 October 2010
On 28 September, ESA and NASA held a special ‘Masters with Masters’ knowledge-sharing session at the International Astronautical Congress in Prague. The event featured ESA’s Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain and NASA’s Administrator Charles Bolden.

During this one-hour session moderated by Edward Hoffman, Director of NASA's Academy of Program/Project and Engineering Leadership (APPEL), the two space agency leaders engaged in a lively dialogue. They discussed their vision for the future, their personal experiences and lessons learned, and their thoughts on preparing the next generation of space programme leaders.

The ‘Masters with Masters’ session was organised by the APPEL programme.
